2. How to install the Cart Upsell extension.
- From the EcomRise Dashboard, click Upsell & Cross sell on the left sidebar.
- If the app has not had enough permission before, it will ask you to update the app first.
- In this step, please check and click the Update button to access permissions for the extension.
- Then you can install this extension after giving all the permissions.
3. How to Create, Customize, and Add the Cart Upsell offer to the Cart page.
3.1. Create a new Cart Upsell Offer
- Step 1. Open the Cart Upsell dashboard, then choose Create offer to create a new offer
- Step 2. Start to configure the Settings and Design.
3.2. Settings Tab
In the Settings tab, you can fully customize and optimize your upsell strategy. Adjust discount rules, set up display conditions, and enable or disable the countdown timer to create urgency. Manage targeted upsell triggers, such as specific products, collections... With flexible settings and an easy-to-use interface, this tab ensures your upsell campaigns run seamlessly and effectively to maximize conversions.
- Active: You can enable or disable the offer here.
- Title: Add Offer's title. You can translate the Title into the languages your store supports.
- Popup's heading: You can see this text on the Upsell popup on the Cart page. You can also translate the Popup's heading into the languages your store supports.
- Countdown timer: Set the countdown time you can to use the offer.
- Countdown text: Set the text description for Countdown.
- Trigger: You can select products to trigger an upsell popup when they’re added to the cart. Products are selected from: All products, Specific products, Specific collections.
- Offer: Select products to show as offer in the Upsell popup. Products are selected from: Specific products, or Related products recommended by the Search and Discovery app.
- Discount: You can config discount value for this offer.
- Active/End dates: The offer will be active or end at this time.
- Offer visible: You can set conditions to display this offer for different customer profiles.
- Countries: You can also set the country to display this offer.

3.3. Design Tab
Design options:
- General settings: In this section, you can style the background color, width, padding, and border for Upsell popup.
- Popup heading: You can set typography, background color, text alignment for the Popup heading here.
- Countdown: Some styles for countdown are available here.
- Product list box: Configure padding, and border for the product list box.
- Product image: You can configure the width, height, border, and background for the product image here.
- Product info: Same Product image, you can also style some options for product info such as typography, sale badge, and variants...
- Item action button: Here you set typography, background color, and border for the item action button.
- Checkout button: You can also configure typography, background color, and border for Checkout button similar Item action button.
3.4. How to add the Cart Upsell offer to the Cart page
Once you create and activate the Cart Upsell offer, it will automatically appear on the Cart page of the active theme selected in the App Settings section.
3.5. Filter Action
Once the Cart Upsell offer has been created, the status bar from the Dashboard of that extension can be seen at the bottom. Such as:
- All: That will highlight every offer you’ve made within that extension.
- Active: That will demonstrate that the deal is active on your website, as the published one.
- Inactive: That will demonstrate that the deal is inactive on your website, as the unpublished one.
- Scheduled: The following will display the prepared offer along with the time and date of display.
- Expired: That will maintain your previous offer, but those did run out of time.
